Two miles on the Delaware Park Ring Road with a twist. And what a twist too! Predict your finishing time when you register for the race. Run the race but be warned - no watches, stopwatches, GPS devices allowed. We will ask all to raise their bare wrists before the start! Run the race as close as you can to your predicted finishing time without the help of your trusted timing/GPS device. And there will be no help from us either other than having the mile marked - no mile splits, no clock at the finish - just your internal sense of pace.
"The Fleet Feet Sports Flurrious Forecast 2 Mile Fun Run will feature a different way of racing. Knowing your pace is the key to successful racing no matter what the distance from 5K to the marathon. The Fleet Feet Sports training programs emphasize the need to learn your race pace and uses challenges like this race to test our runner's internal sense of pace. Run our race for something new and different or run the race so you can find out what pace you can handle." -Alice Loncto of Fleet Feet
