During the upcoming Olmsted Parks Flurrious! Festival, Campus WheelWorks is planning a Snow Sprint Bike Race. These are the same guys that brought is Cyclocross this past fall. This time it's going to be a race in the snow around Ring Road with a 1pm starting point on Saturday, January 15th. Racers are allowed to ride on whatever style bike they choose, and according to race organizer Ethan Johnson, "This will be an unusual but extraordinarily fun bike race to celebrate the great
winter season. The race will consist of one lap around the ring road
loop in Delaware Park with a few off-road cyclocross style sections.
Depending on the amount of snow that falls between now and then, these
sections could definitely be running or trudging through the snow
sections. All bikes are welcome as are all ages, under 18 need
parental consent. Helmets are mandatory and so is fun!"
