oh man that will look so much better than whats there now. i do have a question though, not in a smart ass way. i can't help but notice all of these new medical buildings look really similar, is there a reason for that? Does something about the design/layout benefit the practices, or is this just a design thats popular in architecture right now?

Awesome building. It's going to hugely improve commercial activity on that strip of Main.

For a primarily suburban developer, Ciminelli sure looks like he knows something about urban design.

This is a great signature building, its def something that you can build around as a model of a modern forward thinking Medical Campus.

Love it in every way. A+ Precisely what the area needs. Can someone post some pictures of the UB/Kelida vascular building. I can see it in the background!

yes ECC should pay attention, and this design is cool, cant wait !!!

Buffalo General is going to start to look a bit dated now.

To all the negatrons who insist that we (preservationists) poo-poo new design, I say WRONG....if it is quality, which this is, you won't hear any discontent.

This is exciting and I, too, would seriously question ECC if they did not stay downtown--they would be doing their students a disservice.

And the best part? "Underground parking"! No more surface parking lots in downtown Buffalo.

All of the renderings are at night... What will this look like during the day? Usually the glass has a certain tint to it. Maybe they haven't decided yet?

Also I'd like to note that it is very interesting that development at Larkin and Medical Campus seems to be not affected at all by the downtown office space worries that are going on as a result of Seneca One/HSBC.

Although the impending hsbc building issues are concerning it is nice to see that the city is diversifying!

can we see the site plan? i'd like to know where it sits in relation to the street.

I think we should fight to have that vinyl-sided roof, on the little structure to be demolished, re-used! (kidding, kidding)

The pace of growth in the medical corridor is astounding! It really feels like a turning point in WNY's long slow transition.

Somehow, someway, though, the new shiny medical corridor is going to have to do more to integrate with its neighbors..to the East (what a huge discrepancy in reality)...to the West (many businesses on Allen feel there is not enough flow into their neighborhood), etc. It can't be this bubble in the middle of the city.

The Fruit Belt, for so long a poor and marginalized neighborhood, does not have the capacity to "raise their level" alone. Millions of dollars of public money is going into the Medical Corridor. Some of it should be spent in the neighborhood.
