We're looking for a few more snow sculptors to participate in the Flurrious! festival in mid-January. We're planning on lining a few of the paths leading up to the Parkside Lodge with sculptures. At this point, the boxes that hold the snow are in the planning stages, and as we all know, the snow is falling, which means that we're on target to get all the snow that we need. Now we're tracking down artists who have carved, or who would like to carve, some fun and/or intricate snow sculptures.
We have a team of volunteers who are willing to provide any of the necessary steps to get the snow in place. Artists would need to be able to provide their own tools for sculpting. Also, anyone who has any sculpting experience from previous winter festivals, we would like to have you join the Flurrious! team. Please send me an email if you can help with this outdoor winter display. Of course, there will be a first prize trophy and prize for winner/s.
