Fourth Annual Harvest Celebration

You've seen the gardens spring up in your neighborhood. You've watched the transformation, as derelict empty lots are converted into community gathering spaces. You've been wanting to thank the people behind the effort, but you weren't sure exactly how to do that. On November 4th Grassroots Gardens is hosting the 4th annual Harvest Celebration at the stunning Karpeles Manuscript Museum (5:30-9:00pm). This is the organization's big push to raise money so that it can continue to revitalize our neighborhoods one garden at a time.

If you're not sure which Karpeles Manuscript Museum the fundraiser is being held in (Buffalo is lucky to have two), it's the one closer to D'Youville College (see here). Not only is this a worthy cause, supporters of Grassroots Gardens will be treated to an evening filled with Flying Bison (hopefully Rusty Chain), hors d'oeuvres from local restaurants, a silent auction and raffle prizes. Give some green to get some green, and come meet the people behind the greening of our city at the same time.

*Admission price is only $30 for non-members, $25 for members.
