2010 Buffalo Monster Fest... oh, the horror!

2010 Buffalo Monster Fest... oh, the horror!
Are you into horror and monster movies? You know... Dracula, The Wolfman... The Pigman? Actually, I was not even aware of The Pigman until I happened upon the short at this year's Zombie Walk. Not only was I not aware of the production, I was not aware that the legend of The Pigman hails from Western New York. Not to say that I'm a local horror buff, but I am a fan of scary movies and am happy to know that there are some creatives around the city who are producing these types of flicks.

I'm also happy to know people like Jim Breidenstein, of Webart Designs, who are helping to promote the local horror and monster filmmakers. This coming Friday June 30th, Jim, in conjunction with Monster Energy Drink, is hosting Buffalo Monster Fest at D'Arcy McGees. The night will be full of all sorts of gruesome characters, both on screen and off. Join actors, producers, directors, musicians and horror fans for a night of bone crunching fun. Meet the people behind the growing horror industry in Buffalo, and share in the chills and thrills of screenings, book signings and even live music.
