Bookfest bookfest bookfest bookfest bookfest
"Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo." is a grammatically valid sentence in the English language, used as an example of how homonyms and homophones can be used to create complicated linguistic constructs. More info on this odd phenomenon can be found at Wikipedia. The card shown above is freshly printed using vintage type at the WNY Book Arts Center. Saturday at WNYBAC you too can print one of these during Bookfest.

Book Fest is a free event held from 12-6pm on Saturday June 26 at the WNY Book Arts Center at 468 Washington Street in downtown Buffalo. The event will include hands-on demonstrations on techniques such as paper marbling, letterpress printing, bookbinding, and paper making. Participants will have the opportunity to try their hand at these techniques and leave with a hand printed card or
a book made from unexpected materials. There will also be in-store specials on a wide selection of art papers and books! Stop by, check out Buffalo's exciting new print museum and book arts studio, and learn something new!
