Suffice it to say, the event seems to have been a great success, and everyone who sent in their opinion or images to Buffalo Rising raved about what a good time they had. I do think I appreciated the scale of Artists & Models more when it was at the Central Terminal in 2008, but the turn out for Saturday's show was excellent and it was fun to see Rock Harbor at night.
There are quite a few images here of one of my favorite installations- a team dressed in HazMat garb carefully and cautiously dissecting a fast food hamburger in various locations throughout the building. We've left the comments open at the bottom of the page, so please feel free to add your two cents if you're so inclined. We'd love to hear which of the installations were your favorites.
Many thanks to the commentors who asked to remain anonymous, but sent their reviews via email to us over the weekend anyway. There were some a little too long for us to incorporate in their entirety, so we've done our best. A special thank you to Katrina Boemig for contributing a good number of images (eight all together, I think). Finally, MommyDaddyBaby sent us links to some of the film pieces they used in their installation, and also kindly asked us to remind readers that some of A&M's artists have upcoming shows.
We recently profiled artist Kyle Butler who has a show running at BAS through May 29th.
If any other A&M artists have shows up or about to open, please send us a heads up here.

This is great--I wish I'd uploaded my photos in time. I am working on a memoir. I haven't integrated all the video I took yet, and you can ignore my babbling text, but its good for photos at least.
