Buffalo Rising Poll: What Content Do You Want to Read?
As most of you likely noticed, we've just changed the Buffalo Rising Poll. Last week's poll asked readers whether they'd vote for Carl Paladino if he ran for Governor of New York. In a very tight race, Buffalo Rising readers registered 626 votes for Paladino and 612 votes against him - further validating the 'love him or hate him' view of Paladino.

Leave a commentI'd like to see more development news and construction updates, but this is Buffalo not New York.
Great web site.
Great coverage of everything...except...*sports*.
Buffalo expat here, enjoy Buffalo Rising to see
what is new/going on in Buffalo area. Go Paladino-let
him shake things up. Would like sports kept to
a minimum. Thank you.

I think the mixture of content on the site is good. If the site is looking for a significant overhaul, I'd have to suggest higher journalistic standards. The variety of quality is as wide as the variety of content. There are some posts and writers that are consistently well-researched and written. Then, there are others that seem to be posted without a cursory fact-check or proofread. I do like the site overall, but sometimes it's just embarrassingly amateurish.
