Splash Panic! Skivvies Snowball Fight

Splash Panic! Skivvies Snowball Fight
What do you get when you take a cold winter's day, a business that sells underwear and a bunch of crazy people at Bidwell Parkway? The first annual Splash Panic! Skivvies Snowball Fight. At noon today a small group of people met at the park, dropped their drawers (and just about everything else) and proceeded to pelt each other with snowballs. All of this in the wake of Elmwood Avenue's Splash Panic! unveiling their new line of undies.

A spirited dash in the park ensued before the snow bun-nies raced back to collect their belongings. Much like the Flashmob Pillow Fight this past summer, the Skivvies Snowball Fight is all about having a good time rain, snow, sun... whenever. Just remember, the next time that you go out looking for a sexy pair of short shorts, be sure to put Splash Panic! on your list of go-tos.

Splash Panic! is located at 818 Elmwood Avenue 14222. Phone is 716-844-3344

Yes! For sure has the potential to be another cool Buffao annual event! This post inspired me to stop in over there next time i'm back in town. Nothing like a unique pair of undies!!!

aw, you crazy kids! life would be dreary without outbreaks of sheer silliness. next time do it for its own sake (performance art!) rather than a merchant.

at least it was a local merchant.

The gloves were a nice touch.

Playing around in underwear in these temperatures requires nothing short of sheer lunacy. That said, it looks as though the kids had a blast. If I were a bit more daft, I'd try it myself, but I hate the cold..

related side topic: where on earth do you buy sleds in buffalo????? i went all over the place and no one had sleds. not the nice ones, like those old orange/red saucers. it's incredible that in buffalo, you can't find a sled.

I KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!! I went to at least 9 stores... with only Tops and Value having any... and not very good options at that..

It is a complete and utter shame that its January in Buffalo. You want to go play int he snow and all you can buy at Target is swimming trunks... God I hate national chains.

I would also like to know where can I buy a freakin sled!?! A simple round saucer...

PS. I went to Dicks, Target, Value, Home Depot, Tops, Dollar General, Big Lots and Sears. The only options were a piece of crappy foam for 30 bucks at Dicks or an odd shaped plastic one from Tops for $25...
