A Perfect '10

A Perfect ‘10
It just wouldn't be New Years' Day without posting one or two of photographer Joe Cascio's fantastic shots of the First Night Ball Drop. Although I usually try to get the photos posted earlier in the day, the wait was well worth it as you can see. Each year Joe manages to captures the scene perfectly - the architecture, the colors, the people...

The first shot of the top of the Electric Tower is impressive - the second shows just how many people attend each year. Thanks to Joe for continuing to document the spectacular sights of First Night. If you're ever looking for a photographer who is reliable and professional, reach out to a guy who continues to showcase Buffalo in a dramatic light. Check out his website:

I know he's freelance, but he's got to have some contracts with any entity that considers itself a promotional venue for the city and WNY. Amazing work!

Stayed downtown for New Years and went to the Ball Drop which I haven't seen in over 15 years. Brought some friends and family and they loved it. Wonderful fireworks display and the Electric Tower is an incredible backdrop for the whole event. Can't wait for a redo next year..
