Holiday Shopping: Support Ryan Miller's Steadfast Foundation

The National Hockey League's league-leading goaltender, Buffalo Sabres' Ryan Miller, is not only the top dog between the pipes this hockey season, but is one of the hottest names in Buffalo this holiday season.

Over the past few years Miller has quietly become a "brand" by lending his star power to numerous charitable fundraisers and events, including his annual A-List party, "Catwalk for Charity." This holiday season, Miller lends his support to three distinct products that will make great holiday gifts, with proceeds going toward enhancing the lives of those facing cancer.

The charity closest to Miller's heart is his self-created The Steadfast Foundation - an organization that provide support and resources to those suffering from the ill effects and life-altering consequences of cancers, especially childhood leukemia.

This year, The Steadfast Foundation has teamed up with three local businesses - Lotions & Potions, City Wine Merchant, and Wilson Farms - for the holiday shopping season.

Purchase your exclusive Ryan Miller limited-edition poster at area Wilson Farms stores until December 31. One out of four lucky shoppers may randomly receive a personally autographed poster when making their poster purchase. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the poster sales will be donated to The Steadfast Foundation.

Lotions & Potions, located at 798 Elmwood in Buffalo, is happy to be working in cooperation with Ryan Miller's clothing store, The Refinery and the Steadfast Foundation. Clothes and accessories from brands such as Diesel, Citizens, 7 for Mankind, Betsy Johnson, Free People and Nicole Miller have been brought in for this special holiday sale.

Located at 715 Main Street (at Tupper) in Downtown Buffalo, the spankin' new City Wine Merchant is where you'll find limited-edition Steadfast Foundation bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is produced by a local vineyard, Merritt Estates Winery and was made for this year's Catwalk for Charity event. Bottles are $15.00, autographed for $30.00, but a limited supply is available. It makes a great gift and is also a one hundred percent donation to a great cause.
