As the Buffalo Powder Keg Festival picks up steam, organizers have decided to hold a competition for creating a logo. We've even got a $250 Pearl Street Grill and Brewery gift certificate to give away to the winner. Not to add undo pressure, but we need to get the ball rolling on this in order to move forward with promoting the event (scheduled to take place February 27th and 28th).
If you're looking for inspiration for the logo design, I would hope that the image of a powder keg would be included. For additional inspiration, here are some of the more interesting activities that we are presently working on:
Snowshoe hikes, horse and carriage rides, curling, 5K race, igloo building, kite fling, kite boarding, ice carvings, Saint Bernard parade, pancake breakfasts, polar bear swim, ultimate Frisbee, couples' emergency sled pull, snow soccer, x-country skiing, jalapeno hot chocolate fountain, ice maze, giant snowman, chili cook-off, tug-o-war, skyway exit ramp tubing, fireworks...
