Six individuals displaying excellence and commitment to our
community's response to HIV/AIDS will be recognized for their dedication as
they receive awards at the AIDS Network of WNY's seventh annual Red Ribbon
Community Award Ceremony, Friday, December 11, 2009, from 5:30 to 7:30PM at Asbury
Hall at Babeville, 341 Delaware Avenue, corner of W. Tupper, Buffalo.
The 2009 Ron Gonzalez Excellence in Service Award recipient is
Babette M. Sullivan, of Kaleida Health's Women and Children's Hospital. The
award honors the commitment, dedication compassion and leadership of the late
Ron Gonzalez who was among the passengers who died in the February crash of
Flight 3407 near Buffalo, NY.
The 2009 Red Ribbon Award recipients include Edward Brunner,
Kelly Craig, Lillian Medina, Debra Nichols and Jason Rein.
