Ugly Christmas sweaters; everybody's got one! Well, almost everybody.

Roswell Park Cancer Institute is asking you to put on an ugly Christmas sweater and proudly wear it out in public. They are holding this unusual fundraiser on December 5th, from 6:30 to 10:30 at Fontana Ogden's Restaurant at 1834 William Street, and it's all in good fun.
We immediately thought of our friends at Block Club Magazine, who just had a Christmas portrait done by Lori Joyce. Pictured above are Block Club's Ben Siegel, Patrick Finan, Stephen Soroka and Brandon Ewing Davis, wearing ugly Christmas sweaters and having fun! (Just remember, only the truly cool dare to be dorky.)
$20 gets you in the door for all you can eat, wine and beer and a raffle. If you know someone with an ugly Christmas sweater, imagine their surprise and delight when you ask to borrow it! Just don't tell them where you're wearing it.
I swear events like this and Halloween are the only reason places like Amvets and Goodwill stay in business.
