Fashion + Church = Mass Appeal

The Elmwood Village Association (EVA) is proud to announce the participation of several talented local designers in Mass Appeal, a fashion event presented by Sorrento Cheese.  "Including local designers adds a level of excitement to the event," says Mass Appeal producer Erin Habes.  "Preparing for a professional show gets their (local designers) creative juices flowing and the audience is sure to appreciate their one-of-a-kind collections."

The audiences' experience is very important to Ms. Habes.  This year's Mass Appeal theme "Come into the Light" utilizes high-contrast light vs. darkness to create intimacy and visual drama.  As part of the show's introduction, Ms. Habes is planning an "Oprah Moment" of audience participating using Mass Appeal sunglasses.  The shows professional production is sure to make the local designs shine.       

Mass Appeal is the EVA's version of New York City Fashion Week. The event takes place this Friday November 6, 2009 at the Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church (875 Elmwood Avenue, Buffalo, New York). Doors will open at 7PM and the show will begin promptly at 8PM.  VIP tickets are available for $100, general seating for $30 and open seating for $10.
