It's Halloween season again! You know what that means; it's time to ingest a somewhat startling amount of horror. And while we all enjoy the classics, the Halloween series, Nightmare on Elm Street, Hellraiser, why not add a thoroughly Buffalo production to your gore collection?
House of Horrors The Movie is just what you need. DVDs are available through the House of Horrors website and at the House of Horrors and Haunted Catacombs locations.
Filming spanned from April to July 2009 at various locations in Buffalo and the House of Horrors in Cheektowaga, with local actors. Post-production wrapped up in September, just in time for horror season.
The movie follows a group of "House of Horrors" employees who stay in the house overnight, and an excommunicated priest, named Father Jacob Holy, as he searches for a possessed Ouija board and an entity once known as "The Apostle Killer."
Dan Monroe of DWM Productions wrote, produced, and directed the film.
