Meet the Bubble Man!

Spend enough time in this city and you won't need me to tell you who the Bubble Man is. But for those of you who might not be sure (or you're new here), he's Chuck Inorvaia, Allentown resident. And for years, he's been showering the corner of Allen and Elmwood with an almost surreal barrage of bubbles. It's pretty cool, if not a tad distracting. (I always have soap bubble marks on my car, which pale in comparison to the broken window I sustained recently.)

On Saturday, August 8th, at El Buen Amigo (114 Elmwood Ave) at 7 PM, Chuck will be on hand, possibly to sign bubbles. The event is pot luck, so bring your own dish to share and enjoy some live music by local bands. You can get involved by contacting El Buen Amigo or joining on Facebook.

This is a fantastic chance to meet the bubble man, and connect with some cool Buffalonians!

Don't think about committing a violent crime while Bubble Man is on duty. He has been known to look out for Allentowner's best interest and phone the police if anybody is accosted on his watch.

I love the bubble man. The two best memories I have of him where on separate occasions where I saw small children trying to chase a bubble and almost getting hit by a car. One was saved by his father and the other by a complete stranger.

I love you Bubble Man! You are a positive asset - adding smley vibes to the Elmwood-Allen atmosphere. Anyone who trashes you is jealous and small (probably where is counts).

Wow, what a prominent location in the city and such a visibly decrepid building. What is with the property owners in this city? How much money do they want to suck out of a property that they cannot afford a $20 can of paint or a $200 insulated window. Alittle every year...but this shows...clearly that some Buffalo property owners wont do anything...in any year...unless there is some safety or city violation pending.

No wonder there is so much toxic pessimism in this city, look at the precedent some property owners set forth for the environment we must all live in.

Congrats to Bubbleman for contributing to brighter spirits.

Everyone should be entitled to one free bubble bath in the Bubble man's bathroom per month. It could happen if parking wasn't such an issue. Anyway we can get the metro rail to run underneath to Allen then out to SUNY/Fredonia?
