I thought it was funny when everyone was excited about "Bruce Almighty" taking place in Buffalo but then it turned out that Jim Carrey and Jennifer Aniston were never actually here.  Well, not funny, I guess the right word would be "typical."  That's okay!  "The Savages" was shot here!  Some other movies were too, sort of. 

But, as the saying goes, "If you want something done right, you must do it yourself."  Leave it up to one of our own to understand that. 

Anyway!  DWM Productions is looking for actors to fill roles in their upcoming production "Seasons Of The Heart."  Auditions are on July 8th and July 15th.  Currently, the 8th date is filled, but the 15th is open.  To attend an audition, contact Angelo Logalbo at Angelo@ToyBoxHeroes.com, the man who wrote and will be starring in the film.  Angelo will fill you on the time and address for your audition.

I met with Angelo, who was very excited about his vision coming to life.  "It's a love story, and Buffalo will play a central theme," he told me.  "The characters grow up apart and meet here.  You'll see and identify Buffalo in the film." 

And that's what "Seasons of the Heart" is about; love in Buffalo.  The film will be shot in the city and surrounding areas, at the famous places to which we flock throughout the year.  It will be shot in four parts: summer, fall, winter and spring.  Shooting for the summer will take place this August.
