At 6 PM on Thursday, July 9, you can head to Rich's Renaissance Atrium for a good time and a benefit for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation [716-686-9400]. Tickets are $50 or $400 for a 10-pack.
Guests will enjoy a beach theme and drinks will be provided by Tommy Bahama. Food will consist of Buffalo's famous roast beef on weck and tropical themed dishes to coincide with the beach theme of the night. Entertainment includes a silent live auction and live music from the Niagara Falls based band, Soul Committee.
On Friday, July 10, there will be a catch-and-release fishing tournament as part of the Redbone Tournament Series, and will include over 40 boats and 200 fishermen. Post-tournament, participants are invited to dinner, cocktails and prizes. The tournament will be located at the NFTA Boat Harbor, 111 Fuhrmann Blvd.
To date, the Redbone Tournament Series has raised over $5 million for cystic fibrosis research and medical treatment.
