When asked why he went into the family business - if you're lucky, his mom Aviva, the original force behind Uncle Sam's, will be in the store too - Geist is quick to tell you it's all about the fashion. "For me," he says "it's about taken what has already been done, and playing with it to create something new." Fashion is indeed his thing, don't let the military vehicle and cannons outside the door fool you. While we were there, he got a call from Marc Jacobs.
Despite his connections to 7th Avenue, Geist's prices remain the bomb. You can get cammies from Canada to Israel for around $25, along with a wide variety of topical t-shirts. Uncle Sam's also offers dog tags made to order and any other paraphernalia you may want, with no questions asked. Still need the right outfit for Friday? Just ask Robert, David, Roger or any of the rest of the crew. They'll have the perfect dress whites, WAP uni or junta-wear for the occasion.
Meet us at The Bash - just look for the redhead mariner (back in Buffalo), tall blonde in a MP riot gear helmet and ghillie pants, or the Scarsdale chick in "Boot Camp" booty pants.

This is quite certainly the coolest place in the Hydraulics! Rob is the best!
Roger that -- over.
I discovered this place on a tour of the Larkin District in 2006 with Tim Tielman -- it's definitely one of the things that makes Buffalo cool.
I understand there's an A-Team movie in the works -- wonder if they'll be supplying--?
