This station is awful. In the 20 minutes I watched today, they barely covered the only national story dominating the news-- the Binghamton shooting. I had to turn to CNN, FOX, and MSNBC to see live coverage from News 10 in Syracuse. News 10 is the same Time Warner sister station. Instead, YNN is covering a gas audit. What terrible editorial judgment!

While I watched, they mentioned that the State Senate Dems. had a "razor thin" 52 seat majority. The Dems. barely had 32; there are 62 members total in the State Senate, not 100.

They have no web site, the anchors are awkward, they have an inactive Twitter account, the writing is bad, and the details are wrong. I wanted to give this station a chance; R-News in Rochester, News 10 in Syracuse, and Capital News 9 in Albany are all quality stations. YNN really needs to step up, or free up Channel 14 for better programming.
