In this economy, questions and conversations surrounding housing and real estate haven't stopped coming since...we can't remember how long. Whether you're wondering if you should continue to rent, or if it's time to considering buying or selling, we all have an inquiry of some sort.

HomeFront, Inc. is providing advice to assist in answering those questions. In the upcoming months, the group will hold two seminars that offer an overview of the home buying process, available credit counseling to help get your finances on track, an explanation on available grant programs, as well as a presentation from a lender in the area on how to qualify for a mortgage.

The next program will be held on Tuesday, April 7^th at HomeFront's office at 560 Delaware Avenue, corner of Allen. Presenters will be Citizens Bank.

HomeFront will also educate homeowners on lead in the home at a workshop from 5:30-8:30PM on March 19^th. The workshop, titled "Get the Lead Out - Dealing with lead in older homes," will focus on the lead problem with presenter Joe Bologna (HomeFront residential construction analyst). The class will also provide information on how to maintain good credit, home budgeting, and general maintenance of your home.

Lead detection systems, a $100 U.S. Savings Bond and paint will be raffled off at the end of the evening to those who preregistered for the event. Registration is online, or by phone at 856-2952.
