BRO submission by Leo Singh:
With the first signs of spring beginning to break through, we can all start to look forward to the numerous summer festivals including the Buffalo Niagara Guitar Festival. While the area is blessed with many well known guitarists including Joanne Falleta with the Buffalo Philharmonic, Joanne Castellani at the University at Buffalo, and even Drew Stafford of the Buffalo Sabres there is plenty to keep classical guitar aficionados happy.
In recent days the virtuosity and variety of styles has been on display including Babik Gypsy Jazz at Nietzsche's last night and their regular monthly appearance at Allen Street Hardware. Today I stumbled upon Christian Campos playing the gentle and rhythmic sounds of Bossa Nova at Buffalo's latest hidden gem Sweetness 7 Cafe on Grant Street. Check him out on the first and third Friday's of every month from 6-8 PM.
