Founding Fathers Quiz Night

BRO recently posed a question to Tricia Barrett regarding the details of the much talked-about Founding Fathers Quiz Night. From Tricia:
"It's an absolute blast. It's the first Tuesday of every month from 7-9pm. We're two for two with a packed bar, and are hoping our third installment tonight brings more of the same. Teams of five compete in a 3-round trivia challenge. The first round is a general trivia "shout out", where Mike Driscoll (owner, bartender, and trivia guru) is trying to pick out the smartest folks. Get three answers right by being the first to shout out and you make it to the finals.
"After that, the team competition begins, with each team given a 60-question packet to fill out. While the questions are supposed to be multi-topic, there tend to be quite a lot on American history and old-Buffalo. From there each team grades another team's paper, and the winners are showered with prizes and a good dose of bragging rights. Last but not least, the winners of the "shout out" are brought together to determine the master of trivia for the night. It's like one big game of Pig. Get three wrong and you're out.
"I'm so excited with how the event has taken off. It's good, clean fun. What's also nice is there are a variety of ages, and a ton of different types of people brought together. Mike's regulars are all there, and there are lots of new people who have come out to support the pub and have some fun.

I love Founding Fathers! I haven't had the chance to make it to a Quiz Night when I've been back in town, but anytime I'm in we love to sit at the bar and chat with Mike...he's one of the friendliest bartenders in Buffalo, its great to see him using this unique little trait of the bar to make it grow.
