Mayor Byron W. Brown has announced internet services along with
an update of the City of Buffalo's 311 Call and Resolution Center. Now
residents can make requests online for snow and ice removal at the City of Buffalo website: www.city-buffalo.com.
"My Administration continues to develop easier ways for city
residents to access city services or report concerns that exist in their
neighborhoods," said Mayor Brown. "Through our city website and our new 311
Call and Resolution Center, city residents can file requests for key city
services, which are then processed expeditiously by the Call and Resolution
Center personnel."
New services that can be requested online include street plowing
and street salting. Residents may also report sidewalks in their
neighborhoods that have not been cleared of ice and snow through the city's
website. Previously available service requests on the city's
website include animal control, forestry, parking, graffiti and
sanitation.
Residents with any problems associated with winter weather
activity are encouraged to call the City of Buffalo's 311 Call Center.
This can be done simply by dialing 3-1-1 from any landline or cell phone within
city limits.

I have a feeling this will not benefit the side streets. That storm we had about a 3 weeks ago when everyone complained about the snow removal I think I counted maybe 2 plows on my street. I heard from a neighbor on summer that no plow came down their street. Me an my roommate had to shovel are own road About 10 ft by 50 ft long because the city never came or they were to scarred to plow by the side wall in between cars that were spaced a couple hundred feet apart. So when they did come they would just go down the center and snow lock all the cars in. Brilliant plan.
