See The Aud In A Dizzying Panoramic Light

See The Aud In A Dizzying Panoramic Light
A buddy of mine, "Bill Junior",  was allowed to set up a single Canon DLSR in The Aud in order to do some shooting. His intentions were to capture the interior in a way that no one had done yet. He wanted to offer fans a chance to stand inside (virtually) and see it from a different perspective.

The experience is dizzying in its ability to transport each and every one of us into the epicenter of the building. Pan and tilt the moving panorama at will by 'grabbing' the screen and directing your mouse. Look straight up at the old scoreboard or follow the seats around in a full circle. Then try the magnification feature. And if you want to see the image completely unobscured, click on the little box that looks like a butterfly graphic. It's The Aud captured in time (sun beams and all) and it's completely awesome.

Interesting you chose that view, notice the Aud was smiling?

The Aud is happy to be retiring finally after all these years in limbo!

Its going to be fascinating to see and document the deconstruction of the building.

Really cool! Would be neat to have a collection of interior or exterior spaces done like this in Buffalo.

Think about the Guarantee Building's atrium or the FLW pergola.. Elevator alley...

I would like to shoot panos in allot of Buffalos awesome spaces, gaining access is sometimes difficult. I'm hoping to shoot this again before it's gone.

I had driven by The Aud over the last couple of weeks and in fact they are salvaging parts of the building. Such items include the art deco eagles and the city/state crest. A look back at my article: Keeping Memories of The Aud Alive Website:(http://archives.buffalorising.com/story/keeping_memories_of_the_aud_al)
