When my girlfriend last saw this guy over the summer, he was riding his horse down Main Street dressed in a cowboy outfit. She called me up and described the urban cowboy to me. 'Unfortunately' I never saw him on that day because I was already on my way to capture and image with Mayor Brown and a couple of the Radio City Rockettes (decisions, decisions...). I really hadn't thought about the missed opportunity until we saw this twosome hoofing their way down Allen Street. In a city like Buffalo, these sights can certainly catch you off guard.
Despite the fact that I would not personally choose to hire a horse and rider to carry my message, this guy certainly managed to attract a fair amount of attention. His message? Crinzi and Gullo Jewelers, located at 295 Main Street, was hosting a 'Twelve Days of Christmas' sale. I'm sure that the rest of the businesses along Allen Street were happy to see this urban Santa too. If you didn't know what was going on, you might have assumed he was out there marketing the shops in the neighborhood. Regardless, he was definitely bringing plenty of joy to Allentown visitors.
If you're looking to get your message across (via horse messenger), check out this unusual delivery service for yourself. It's called Pony Xpression. And don't worry about the law when you choose this service... the rider is a mounted law enforcement officer.

It was great to observe this gentleman on horseback in the city of Buffalo. He has brought joy to those who happened to encountered him, (speaking of myself also). It was a uplifting happenstance in a very difficult day. I just happened to be outside while I was awaiting the outcome of an operation of a family member at Buffalo General Hospital.
It was a somewhat shocking surprise to see him trotting down that street. Luckily I happened to get a few photos of the Pony Xpression`s fellow without the Santa outfit, on his horse named Cowboy. This is a mighty fine person to have the opportunity to meet up with. With more connections to Buffalo and it`s great entertainment than you see written here. Besides the mounted law enforcement job. This fellow is very helpful to others in the community with other fine jobs, and I personally don`t know how he has the time or energy for all that he does. He`s just an amazing person. He is truly an asset to Buffalo and the surrounding areas. Hat`s of to you ( Mr. W.! ) and Cowboy too!
