Looking for something to do with the kids during winter break?   The Bob Lanier Community Center (formerly Turner-Caroll High School) has an Indoor 18-Hole Miniature Golf Course, and it's open for business.

A BR reader says he  brought his two sons and a couple of their friends from the block over there this afternoon, and they spent a couple of hours enjoying this fun, colorful brand-new course.

"We were greeted warmly and personally as we arrived, and paid very reasonable rates for the games," says Jim.  "Our kids were especially excited to receive special prizes for their hole-in-ones!"

This is a community/youth empowerment project based on the East Side.

That's Cool! This is also true of the Buffalo Christian Center. I went there once for one of my baby cousin's birthday parties and they have so many activity choices for kids including minature golf course, swimming, a roller rink, game room and basketball court. If you're not put of the religious theme throughout it is a good and wholesome place for yours kids birthday party.
