Family Circle presents the musical movement of the year. Moms across the country are preparing for the only festival that celebrates the Mom artist. The Mamapalooza Festival started five years ago with ten bands for one night in New York City by iHousewives on Prozaci band-leader Joy Rose. Now celebrating its fifth anniversary with over 300 acts on 30 stages at twenty cities worldwide and Buffalo, New York has joined the Mamapalooza roster!

When Albright Knox Director Louis Grachos suggested that Daniels Taylor contact Robby Takac of The Goo Goo Dolls, Annette sent him an email about Mamapalooza,; he responded within the hour with the message, iThis is a great idea, I love moms who rock! Who wouldnit want their mom to rock?i
Robby has donated an autographed guitar for Mamapalooza raffles benefiting Haven House and The Langston Hughes Institute.
On Friday May 12th Mamapalooza Literary/Theater Event sponsored by Just Buffalo Literary Center and DownInMySoul Productions from 7p until 11p at The Langston Hughes Institute, 25 High street, in downtown Buffalo, NY. The evening will include Dana Blockis My Hair Piece, Annette Daniels Tayloris Mama Songs, a staged reading with excerpts from For Colored Girls Who Considered Suicide by Ntosake Shange, Daughters of Creative Sound and spoken word artists Celeste Lawson and Sherry Byrnes with an open mike for Mom inspired words.
Saturday May 13th also at The Langston Hughes Institute from 12noon-7pm, Mamapalooza All Moms-All Music-All Day sponsored by The Langston Hughes Institute and DownInMySoul Productions with music by Liz Abbott, Noa Bursie, Kilissa Cissoko, Joyce Carolyn, Barbara Levy-Daniels, Indeed Love, Wise Mecca, Annette Daniels Taylor, Rebekah Williams, Introducing Drea and Paula Wachowiak. And dance with Inertia Dance Company, Third Rank Dancers and Folkloric Dancers.
The daily $5 admission price is for adults and children are free!
